the EGR valve can stick open, loosing boost pressure and reducing energy to the turbine. the VNT (variable nozzle turbo) has vanes that can be coked up/ jammed. So most of these things are (lack of) "boost" or "restricted" related. Are there any other symptoms (smoke/ strange noises etc)

#1 · Feb 20, 2019 Hi all, this morning on my way to work I did a couple pulls with a wrx and had a CEL light come one. The code is P0234 description Boost solenoid. I am stock with only an air filter and exhaust. The car drives fine it is a 2014 with 147,000 miles and never had an issue I'm only owner any suggestions? Reply LikeCF9q.
