Sorry for necroing a topic, but I had this exact problem with GOG.com's HOMM3 Complete and turns out Shadow of Death's codes work, even though I am currently in an Armageddon's Blade campaign. :P Hope that's useful to whoever needs them (I personally don't have the time to restart a campaign 20 times because I mess up in a place or two.)

But check out all the other discussions here about your question . Ubisoft made HoMM 3 vanilla game into a HD version, not the DLC's. Apparantly they do not have the source code. GOG do not have the HD version of this game, but the older version is not that different , and you get all the DLC's as well. GoG is an entirely different ecosystem.
